i realize that i dont really like LJ much anymore, hence the fact that I never update. But i feel that since I dont have classes for another 2 hours and it is rainy and sad outside I might as well waste the time by updating pointlessly-- no?
well, the first few days of college have been rough-- not classwise but emotionally wise. i basically broke down in tears from all of the things that just hit me all at once....all of my friends are leaving-- bei bei is gone.... and other people are leaving... friendships tis tragic .... & sad wow. and the fact that dorm room life drives me nuts--- basically it is just because i am a wuss and i hate people screaming down the halls and staying up late... i like my own little world of peace and quiet where i can study and such... so much for being reserved
well i am still looking for mr right to plop on my doorstep... haha if that ever happens which may not... but hopefully... it would be nice right??
well adieu my friends.... and seriously i check facebook way more... ugh
sometimes i wonder about the points of updating my livejournal since half the time now days i forget it exists.... and since i truly dont have a life worth talking about it is flat out boring.... which is depressing
I figured i should give a long update about my life. After I left Wichita last week, I kidnapped Uyen and left for Texas to San Antonio where I have been ever since. We have done a variety of things to amuse ourselves We have walked the dog, done household things, slept on the living room floor, made cookies, and other random things. We have gone shopping to the awesome San Antonio malls We went to the RiverWalk and the Alamo last friday on saturday we went to flea markets and the air force base sunday was church and watching fun with dick and jane haha monday we left for mexico and bought things we had fun standing on the line that was between mexico and the usa that wasnt really a part of any place and that was kinda funny and we took pictures of it uyen had fun with people and bargaining to lower her prices of things and we used our spanish to the fullest she went to this one lace where she wanted something for 12 bucks and the guy was like i will give it to your for 12 if you give me un beso (a kiss) so she gave him a kiss on the cheek and got her stuff for 12 bucks we went to paleterias and got the most awesome pelatas i got chocolate and uyen got fresa and my mum and dad got mango we foudn a dulceria and i got cachetada para edgar and then we got some watermelon shaped lolipop thangs that are really good we both bought skirts with the mexican flag design on them that are red & white and green they are really cool and i think both of us should take pictures in them or something we ate at don marcello's mexican restaurant and it was sweetly amazing and the tacos were authentic with corn tortillas and really spicy sauce... ahh man we also found the panaderia and bought stuff there it was like comida city man today we got back from mexico and had a list of things to do at home... like dig the sod and grass up from this plot and then move it to the back yard and replace dirt around it to make an area for a garden. we used lots of water and were very messy i took a picture and should post it at some point of uyen and i looking very tired and stuff and wet and disgusting it is really funny to look at in the process i fell on the shovel and cut a really big chunk outta the bottom of my foot and there was blood all over yay for me being a clutz i have spent the last week learning to drive a stick shift or manual car which shall be mine this upcoming fall... eek tomorrow uyen and i alre following my dad around work at the air force because we can i think thursday is six flags day and then saturday it is back to good old wichita for 2 days and then off to new mexico with my church for youth camp yay i love summer
